o WorldCat -- This database combines contents of thousands of library catalogs, allowing you to search millions of records of books and other material.
o Google Books – Search the full-text of over 10 million books. Content availability varies.
Please note that if you identify a book that is not available in the UNO Library Catalog, you may request it through Interlibrary Loan.
o Use the UNO Library's online catalog to locate books in the library. You can use the author search or the title search to look up a specific book. You can also search by keyword to search all of the information in the catalog records, for any reference to a word or phrase, including some tables of contents.
o Be sure to jot down the call number for the book (e.g., DS526.7 .C656 2009). This tells you exactly where the book is located in the Library. Take note of any special locations, such as Louisiana Collection. The Stacks Location Chart will show the correct floor and aisle for the call number.
o Electronic books can also be searched by going to these individual e-book collections and searching the full-text content:
