Library Room 318 (Innovation Computer Lab): Policy

Library Room 318 (Innovation Computer Lab)

Library room 318 is open to any student when it is not reserved for class or instruction.

The Library’s Game Development Classroom Lab (room 318) contains specialized software for online game creation and digital media editing. The Library collaborates with Computer Science, Fine Arts, and Film in maintaining this classroom for the use of the Game Development Capstone class. The demand for this room can exceed its availability so the use of this room is governed by the following policies:

First priority use of this classroom is the Game Development Capstone class held each spring semester.

Second priority use is for Librarian led or Library sponsored programs and workshops requiring the use of the specialized software.

Third priority use is teaching faculty leading a special class session requiring use of the unique software on the computers.

In the spirit of sharing limited resources, meeting requests from campus faculty and staff that do not meet the above stated uses will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The Library will respond to these requests three (3) days before the requested reservation date. Please contact lamsberr@uno.edu regarding questions about this lab.

Students may not reserve this classroom.
