Welcome

Welcome to the Anthropology (COVID-19 edition)  Resource Guide. Please feel free to contact me for research assistance via email at cphelps@uno.edu.  If you just have a quick question, you can try the Ask a Librarian service in the box on the left during chat hours 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday.

For research assistance with Louisiana or New Orleans history, contact the Louisiana and Special Collections Department at libspec@uno.edu or see the Louisiana and Special Collections web page.

An advance appointment is currently required to use Special Collections materials.  Appointments are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am-1pm during the semester.  A link to make an advance appointment is available on the Louisiana & Special Collections web page

Off-campus access

If you are attempting to access an e-book, e-journal, or subscription database from off campus, you will be asked to log in.  When you click on the resource, you'll be taken to a screen that looks like this. Follow the directions to log in. If you don't know your PIN or have never set up a PIN, click "Reset my PIN," enter your UNO ID+ 2 zeroes, hit "Submit" and a reset link will be emailed your UNO email account.
