Gogreve, dry goods, etc. Canal avenue [now Carrollton Avenue]” listed in Cohen’s New Orleans Directory...for 1854...New Orleans, 1854. Accounts appear to be mainly for residents of Carrollton, Louisiana, and include entries for the New Orleans and Carrollton Railroad, the Town of Carrollton, and the Carrollton Fire Company No. 1. Merchandise sold includes items of food, clothing, lumber, and hardware. 9 bound volumes.
