Open Educational Resources: Find OER

Faculty Select provides a simple search interface for faculty to identify OER titles and content the library can purchase that can be provided free-of-charge to students in place of costly textbooks. Newly-available titles are added regularly.

This search engine, created by George Mason University Libraries, offers a one-stop searchbox for Open and Affordable Educational Resources.

Developed at SUNY Geneseo's Library, this search tool accesses 52 different OER databases that contain more than 150,000 items. OASIS also is the only tool that allows users to limit searches by creative commons licenses or by faculty review

This is a site that aggregates open textbooks from a variety of sources. Reviews are provided for many of the titles.

OpenStax has published dozens of high-quality, peer reviewed, openly-licensed textbooks for commonly taught introductory college subjects. OpenStax is part of Rice University, a nonprofit private university in Texas.

These OER course materials, including open textbooks with interactive quiz and assessment elements, were created for priority dual enrollment courses in Louisiana.

LOUIS OER Commons is a repository of open educational resources aligned with the Louisiana Statewide Common Course Catalog. This repository also facilitates the creation of new OER by Louisiana educators.
