In response to the August 2022 memorandum issued by the White House Office of science and Technology Policy ("Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research"), most federal agencies have revised their policies to ensure that outputs of virtually all federally funded research, including articles and data, will be made available to the public.
This guide offers resources for UNO researchers working to comply with these new funder mandates, including assistance in the preparation of data management plans, provision of sample plans, templates, and tools, and suggestions for discipline-specific repositories for housing and sharing data.
We also offer ScholarWorks@UNO, the campus institutional repository, as a place to share and archive your data. Read more about data deposit in ScholarWorks here.
