When linking to library resources in One Search, it is important to use a permalink. A permalink is a URL that will remain unchanged. To find the permalink for an item in One Search:
- Click on the item you wish to link to
- Click on the "Share" icon in the item record
- Select "Create link".
A proxied link ensures that students are able to log-in when off campus to view digital library resources.
If your permalink does not contain the text "https://login.uno.idm.oclc.org/login?url=", then it is not a proxied link. You can use our proxy link generator below to create a proxied link.
