The Innovation Lab, located in rooms 318 and 320 of the Earl K. Long Library, officially opened on April 14, 2016. The Lab was funded by a Louisiana Board of Regents grant written by the Library, Computer Science, and Film Arts faculty. This interdisciplinary lab was designed to create a workspace for online game development and to encourage students to explore new technology in a relaxed environment.

Library faculty, staff, and the Library's Technology Student Assistants support students using this technology.

Check out our 3D printers: 3D Makerbot Sketches and Replicator Z18 - PLA filament and 3D Systems Projet460 full-color gypsum printer, sewing machines, Carbide 3D desktop milling machine, green screen, motion capture, and VR studio, and high-end computer workstations available for multimedia editing projects.

Room 318, Gaming Lab, is available to all students.

Film, Fine Arts, and Computer Science may reserve rooms 318 or 320 for classes. Check the Library's Programs, Events, and Instruction calendar for days and times the rooms are reserved.
