Room 101 - Student Success Center: Reservation Information

Room 100 Information

 

WHO CAN USE ROOM 101, STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER
The Student Success Center room is available to CAMPUS GROUPS, including registered UNO student organizations, departments, and campus business units. This room may not be reserved for general instruction.  

Reservation requests are submitted through the Room 101 Reservation Application. All reservations will be confirmed in advance by email. Approved advanced and recurring reservations will be posted to the monitor in room 101. All reservations will be posted to the library's Programs and Events calendar.

RESERVATION AND USE POLICY

  • The room is available when the library is open.
  • The room is not available for group study meetings. Exceptions can be made for study groups of over eight students. Please reserve a group study room for eight or fewer students.
  • The room may be reserved for up to 3 hours per week per group.
  • A student organization, department, or business unit may book recurring reservations at the beginning of each semester.
  • Recurring reservations are limited to within the current semester.
  • Reservations will be posted to the room monitor and on the library’s Events and Programs calendar.
  • Organizations, departments, and business units must remove their supplies and belongings after each meeting.
  • Organizations, departments, and business units are responsible for clearing trash and cleaning any spills on the tables after each meeting.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Outside food and drink are allowed in room 101. 

LIBRARY POLICIES
 The University of New Orleans is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in or near campus buildings.

EVENT PROMOTION/SIGNAGE

Sponsoring organizations are encouraged to display signage before and during their event or meeting at approved locations inside the Library. Contact Library Administration at x6556 to discuss placement.

This policy will be reviewed and revised as needed to ensure student organizations have a welcoming environment to meet and equitable access to the room.
