ScholarWorks@ UNO (http://scholarworks.uno.edu), a service of the Earl K. Long Library, is a digital collection of the research, scholarship, and creative work of the University of New Orleans. Using a seamless open access platform, the university's unique academic and artistic achievements are collected, preserved, and disseminated to a global audience of students and scholars.
The UNO Library supports the Open Access model of scholarly publishing because it removes barriers to research and scholarship and disseminates knowledge to the widest possible audience, thereby achieving the fundamental goals of higher education --the advancement of knowledge and the preservation of the intellectual and cultural record.
