BIOS 4723 Virology: Interlibrary Loan

How to get articles that UNO Library doesn't have

Research databases index the most important journals in a particular field but no library can provide access to the full text of every article indexed in every database. You will find that in some cases you'll only have access to citations with no clear way to find the article itself.

Libraries have networks established to share articles, books, DVDs, etc with one another. We have reciprocal borrowing agreements established with libraries across the U.S. and abroad.  This service is called Interlibrary Loan.

As a UNO student you are eligible for this service. The cost is absorbed by the library--there is no charge to you as a student to use it.
