Interlibrary Loan Services

Log-in to ILLiad

What is interlibrary loan?

Interlibrary loan is a service that enables you to borrow books, CDs, and DVDs from other libraries. It also allows you to request scans of articles and book chapters from other libraries.

How does it work?

To submit an interlibrary loan request, you will need to create an ILLiad account. ILLiad is our interlibrary loan application.

After you submit your request, library staff will process your request and send it to another library to fill. If you requested a book, it will be sent to the UNO Library, and we will email you once it is ready for pick up. If you requested an article, it will be emailed directly to your UNO email address.

How do I sign up for an account?

You can sign up for an ILLiad account online here. After you have read through the information, simply fill out the registration form. Make sure to fill out all of the fields, and please remember to register using your UNO email address.

If you need help creating an ILLiad account, you can use our step-by-step Creating an ILLiad Account guide.

I have more questions.
