Faculty and Proxy - Each faculty member can assign one UNO student or staff member as a proxy. A proxy can check out books as if he/she was the faculty member so items will have an annual due date and be on the faculty member's record. The proxy may also pick up articles or ILL books for the faculty member. The proxy should show his/her own UNO ID when picking up materials at the Circulation desk. The faculty member will need to fill out and sign an application card at the Circulation desk indicating the UNO student's name and the term of coverage, not to exceed one year from the date of application. A "Note" is included on the faculty member's record showing the proxy name and expiration date. Proxy cards will have to be renewed upon expiration.
