Correspondence, publications, séance registers, translations of séance registers, photographs, travel brochures, maps, journal notes and notebooks, taped interview, volume on genealogy, and miscellany of the family of Rene Grandjean (1889- ). A native of France, Grandjean resided in New Orleans from 1911 until his death. An important aspect of Grandjean's life lay in his preserving and translating the records of a group of Creole of color spiritualists.
